Today I have a very unique culture to discuss on the culture of Thailand .. also known as the land of smiles.
Well one tradition that Thais follow, about the way they dress or undress , and the way they wash their cloths which is very unique ..

Cloths have a very significant role in day to days life specially for the people in thai,
so if you ever planned to go to Thai you should be knowing how people from thai have a meaning to what they wear and how they wear it ..

You may say, why one has a meaning to the way we wear it or how we take it out from the body ..
well Thais culture has a reason behind it ..

>There is a unique way how Thais wash their cloths ..
Their are two category's or parts
the first is the upper part of the body and the second is the lower below waist.

>Buddhist consider the lower part of the body as unclean and the upper part as very
sacred so they have a special respect to the head , so it is considered bad
if you touch anyone on head .This is part of their religion.

>So after the bath the Thais wash their upper cloths differently from that of the
lower ones .The Buddhist Thais would never take off or put on a skirt over their
heads for the same reason.


>The same reason applies while drying the cloths, Clothes from the lower part of the
body are not placed next to or higher than clothes worn on the top part of
the body.

>After a shower to dry up your body one should not use the same towel, two different
towels to dry up one for the upper part and other for the lower ..

So i think this is a very sophisticated ,disciplined, and cleanliness oriented Culture.
